Metrical Breaks and Line Variations

Oh why do i need so much sleep
If only i could go so deep
In just an hour and then I'd be
Well rested

I used iambic tetrameter for my poem and then i just used a 3 syllable line for the end. I think it kind of feels like finally falling asleep after trying to fall asleep for awhile and thinking about how I should be getting more sleep. I've had this thought many times with myself as I'm laying in bed trying to go to sleep but not because I'm thinking about it too much.

This is my last homework today
Once I'm done I'm home to stay
I can't believe it's here, today
Now I go to home to lay
I need to sleep at least 9 hours
Something else to write, Flowers

I used iambic tetrameter for the first, third, and fifth lines, and I used a variation of trochaic tetrameter for the other lines. They kind of switch off to give a slightly different feel to each line so you have to alternate how you say the lines as they switch. As you can tell, I'm pretty tired as this is a major theme in these poems.
